PADI Tec Deep: Tec 40, Tec 45 & Tec 50 Combo – Complete Technical Diving Training in Malta
The PADI Tec 40, 45, 50 Combo is your pathway to mastering technical diving. This comprehensive course package allows you to take all three key technical diving courses back-to-back, culminating in the PADI Tec Deep Diver certification. By completing this combo, you will progress smoothly from entry-level technical diving to more advanced depths, all while diving in the pristine waters of Malta.
What’s Involved?
The PADI Tec 40 course introduces you to technical diving equipment and teaches you to use enriched air nitrox up to 50% oxygen. You’ll learn to configure your technical gear and manage decompression more conservatively.
Moving forward, the PADI Tec 45 course extends your depth limit to 45 metres. You’ll gain the skills to plan and execute decompression dives using a single stage cylinder with up to 100% oxygen, which can accelerate your decompression stops.
Finally, the PADI Tec 50 course pushes your limits further, enabling you to dive as deep as 50 metres with two stage cylinders. You’ll master using up to 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression and handle complex technical diving setups.
These three courses combined grant you the PADI Tec Deep Diver level, marking you as a fully qualified technical diver capable of exploring some of the most challenging underwater environments.
Certification Benefits
Upon completing the PADI Tec 40, 45, 50 Combo, you’ll be fully equipped to dive to depths of 50 metres. Upgrade Option: Tec Trimix

You’ll learn to dive with Trimix blends that include up to 40% helium, making your deep dives safer and more manageable. This option prepares you for even more advanced dives, such as those covered in the PADI Tec Trimix 65 course.
PADI Tec 40 45 50 Combo: Learning Materials
The PADI Tec Deep Crew Pack is required for this combo course but is not included in the course price. Make sure you have these materials before starting your training.
Next Steps
After completing the PADI Tec 50 course, you’re ready to explore even deeper and more challenging technical dives. The next step in your journey is to advance into full trimix diving. Consider enrolling in the PADI Tec Trimix 65 course, which prepares you to dive to depths of 65 metres using trimix blends with higher helium content. For those aiming to push their limits further, the PADI Tec Trimix Diver course is the ultimate challenge, allowing you to dive deeper than 65 metres using hypoxic trimix blends. These advanced courses open up a world of exploration, taking you to underwater environments that few divers ever reach.
