PADI Tec 50 eLearning – Master Deep Technical Diving

Complete your technical diving training with the PADI Tec 50 eLearning course. This course is the final step in the PADI Tec Deep Diver series and is designed for divers who want to push their limits to 50 metres. Tec 50 takes your technical diving skills to the next level, allowing you to plan and execute complex decompression dives using multiple gases. The course builds on the knowledge and skills you gained in Tec 45, preparing you for more advanced and challenging dives.

In the PADI Tec 50 eLearning course, you’ll learn to use up to two stage/decompression cylinders, each containing enriched air (EANx) or oxygen, to accelerate decompression stops. You’ll master dive planning, gas management, and emergency procedures for deep technical dives. The eLearning platform allows you to study the theoretical components at your own pace, fitting seamlessly into your schedule.

Once you’ve completed the online theory, you’ll practice these skills in practical training sessions. Under the supervision of a PADI Tec Instructor, you’ll conduct staged decompression dives to depths of up to 50 metres. This hands-on experience is crucial for developing the confidence and competence required for deep technical diving.

To enrol, you must be a certified PADI Tec 45 Diver. You should have at least 100 logged dives, and be 18 years or older. The PADI Tec 50 course marks your transition to a fully qualified technical diver. You will be capable of exploring some of the most challenging underwater environments.

Trimix Option:

Elevate your Tec 50 experience with the PADI Tec 50 Trimix option. This option introduces you to the use of trimix (a blend of oxygen, nitrogen, and helium) for deeper dives. Trimix significantly reduces narcosis and gas density, making your dives safer and more comfortable as you explore greater depths.
