What’s Involved?

In the PADI Tec 40 course, you’ll learn how to set up a technical diving equipment configuration and use enriched air nitrox up to 50% oxygen. This course prepares you for making decompression stops of up to 10 minutes, enhancing your safety during dives. The PADI Tec 45 course takes your training further, teaching you to dive to a maximum depth of 45 metres. You’ll learn to plan and execute single and repetitive decompression dives using a single stage cylinder of EANx with up to 100% oxygen. This course also covers emergency response skills, preparing you for the challenges of deeper technical dives.

PADI Tec 40 & 45 Requirements

• Advanced Open Water Diver (PADI or equivalent)
• Enriched Air Diver (PADI or equivalent)
• Deep Diver (PADI or equivalent)
• Rescue Diver (PADI or equivalent)
• Minimum of 50 logged dives, including 12 on enriched air deeper than 18 metres and 10 dives deeper than 30 metres
• Valid diving medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
