Experience the Magic of Scuba with SSI Try Scuba

What to Expect

During this experience, you’ll receive tuition from experienced instructors who will guide you through basic scuba skills such as mask clearing and regulator recovery, all in shallow, confined water. You’ll be well looked after, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable introduction to scuba diving.

We keep small groups, a maximum of 4 divers to one instructor and always emphasise the safety of the whole group.

Recognition and Next Steps

At the end of this underwater experience, you can upgrade to the SSI Basic Diver program. In this next step, you’ll dive deeper and explore more of the underwater world.

What Do You Need to Bring?

Bring a towel, water, a swimming suit, and a change of dry clothing for after-diving.

You Might Consider

If you love the diving experience and want a permanent certification, the Try Scuba experience earns credits towards the SSI Scuba Diver course (2 full days) or the SSI Open Water course (3 full days).

Please Note:

After diving you should leave a minimum of 12 hours before your flight. Also, please check out the medical questionnaire, if you answer “YES” to any of the questions, you’ll need to bring a medical certificate from a doctor.

Make a day of it – our FULL-DAY Basic Diver Experience includes underwater skills training and 2 open-water dives, one of which could be in a marine reserve or on a historical wreck. (depends on weather and local conditions on the day)
