Course Structure & Learning Outcomes

Knowledge Development

You will cover advanced wreck diving theory, including:

• Gas management and emergency gas planning

• Line laying and reel techniques

Practical Diving Sessions

• Confined Water Training (1 Dive): Master buoyancy, trim, line handling, and emergency drills specific to overhead environments.

• Open Water Training (4 Dives): Conduct progressive wreck penetration dives, refining navigation, gas management, and emergency scenario skills in real-world conditions.

SSI Extended Range Wreck Requirements & Prerequisites

• Minimum Age: 16 years

• Certification Level: SSI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)

• Logged Dives: Minimum 24 dives recommended

• Medical Clearance: Valid diving medical certificate
