Course Requirements

To enrol in the SSI Advanced and Nitrox Combo, you must:

• Be at least 15 years old
• Hold an SSI Open Water Course certification from SSI or another recognised agency
• Be medically fit for diving

Duration

• 2 days for in-water training
• Nitrox course completed online at your own pace

Safety Considerations & Important Notes

Before booking your SSI Advanced and Nitrox Combo, please review the following important safety guidelines and course details:

Flying After Diving

• It’s essential to wait at least 18–24 hours after your final dive before flying. This helps reduce the risk of decompression sickness.

Medical Questionnaire

• All students must complete a standard medical questionnaire before starting the course.
  If you answer YES to any questions, you’ll need a doctor’s clearance to participate.

Depth Limitations

• After completing the SSI Advanced Adventurer, your depth limit increases to 30 metres, giving you access to deeper wrecks and dive sites around Malta

SSI Advanced and Nitrox Combo eLearning Modules

The digital learning for this combo course is managed through SSI’s flexible eLearning platform. These modules are not included in the course price, giving you the freedom to study when it suits you.

How to Complete the Course
To complete your SSI Advanced and Nitrox Combo, you must finish both eLearning modules before the practical sessions. We offer two flexible options:

• Bundle Option: Purchase the eLearning modules together with your in-water training to keep things simple and streamlined
• Standalone Option: Buy and complete the eLearning separately at your own pace, then schedule your practical dives when you’re ready

Either way, completion of the digital theory is a required part of your training, so please plan ahead and give yourself time to finish the material before your first dive.
