The SSI Junior Advanced Adventurer course allows young divers aged 12–14 years to safely explore deeper waters and exciting specialty diving adventures. Course Structure & Adventure Dives

Discover Exciting Specialties

Your child will undertake five adventure dives, each focusing on a unique aspect of scuba diving:

• Deep Dive (compulsory): Learn safe techniques for deeper diving (up to 18 metres).

• Navigation Dive (compulsory): Master underwater compass use and natural navigation skills.

• Additional Adventure Dives (choose 3): Such as Wreck Diving, Boat Diving, Perfect Buoyancy, Night Diving, and more, according to interests and instructor recommendation.

Requirements & Standards

• Minimum Age: 15 years

• Certification Level: Must already hold an SSI Junior Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)

• Maximum Depth: 18 metres with instructor or certified adult supervision

• Medical Clearance: Parental consent and medical questionnaire required

Course Duration & Schedule

• Duration: Typically completed in 2–3 days

• Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate your family’s plans.
