The TDI Helitrox diver course teaches you to plan staged decompression dives. However, instead of air or nitrox, you will use Helium to reduce the effects of narcosis. Besides the Decompression Procedures skills, you will learn about the effect of helium, equipment considerations and dive planning as well. If you are usually diving in challenging environments or you feel sensitive to narcosis this is definitely a good option. Also, it is good preparation for the Trimix course as well. Your equipment setup and knowledge will be ready to take the next step.
You will learn about safety procedures, buoyancy, DSMB deployment, team awareness and communication.
