TDI CCR Rebreather Try Dive

This exclusive TDI CCR Rebreather Try Dive program is specifically designed to give you a taste of the incredible world of Rebreathers. Through a combination of practical confined water sessions and an optional open water experience, you’ll learn the fundamental concepts and gain hands-on swimming experience with a Rebreather. Please note that this program does not result in a qualification, but rather serves as an exciting introduction to the possibilities of diving with Rebreathers.

To participate in the CCR Rebreather Try Dive, make sure to bring all your standard diving equipment in good working order. During the course, you’ll engage with selected materials provided by the instructor, demonstrating your ability to maintain buoyancy, perform basic skills, and swim with the Rebreather in confined water. Additionally, there’s an option to experience one open water dive, limited to a maximum depth of 15 meters.

To ensure personalized attention, each instructor will have a maximum of two students. All dives will be conducted within the depth limits of 15 meters.

Upon completion, you may receive a wall certificate at the instructor’s discretion, recognizing your participation in the Rebreather Experience using the specified unit.

The water skills development portion includes:

• Practising buoyancy control
• Performing basic drills as instructed by the instructor
• Utilizing manual overrides
• Effectively monitoring the system.

This comprehensive program is conducted over a single day, with morning theory sessions followed by individual dives in the afternoon.

Must be a qualified diver, a minimum of 10 logged dives, and a minimum of 18 years of age.
