Help to keep our ocean clean with the new PADI Dive Against Debris speciality course. It is important not only to collect rubbish during your dives but also to gather and submit information about what you find. With this you help organisations to have a better understanding of sea litter in your area, therefore they can take better action against getting more trash landing in the sea.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
Learn about data collection and how to make a difference in your local area or on your holiday. On one open water dive, we go and clean a dive site. In cooperation with a local NGO Zibel and other companies, we regularly organise cleanups of different sites around Malta
WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY CERTIFICATION?
You don’t need a certification to pick up litter during your dives, but with this course, you can make it count even more! The Dive Against Debris speciality counts toward your Advanced Open Water certification. You can also take this dive as part of your AOW course, in this case just for the certification fee (35 EUR) you can get both cards.
