PADI Discover Scuba Diving

Get a taste of diving through the PADI Discover scuba diving session. The program includes tuition, equipment and underwater training by an experienced instructor. The PADI Discover Scuba can be credited towards the Open Water course! If you want to get wet and embark on a lifetime of adventure, this experience is ideal!

WHAT IS INVOLVED?

Discover the exhilarating sensation of wearing scuba equipment and experience the effortless mobility it provides beneath the water’s surface. Also, gain insights into the extraordinary experience of breathing underwater and ascertain if you can achieve a state of comfort in aquatic environments. Furthermore, acquire essential fundamental skills and acquaint yourself with safety regulations that will seamlessly transfer to your comprehensive scuba certification course as you progress to the next stage.

The course consists of a dive briefing, an explanation of equipment use, and two diving sessions. These diving sessions include a short dive around in shallow confined water (6m max) with completing some basic skills. Once you are comfortable, we will continue with the second part. This is where we go a little deeper (12m max) and explore further. The length of the dive is depending on you, usually between 30 to 60 min. The whole program takes about 3-4 hours.

You can gain credit towards the PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Scuba Diver course or do other dives with us for the rest of your holiday.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?

Bring a towel, water, a swimming suit, and a change of dry clothing for after-diving.

YOU MIGHT CONSIDER…

If you know you love diving and want a permanent certification, you can take the course to become a PADI Scuba Diver in 2-3 days or take the full PADI Open Water course in 4-5 days.

PLEASE NOTE

After diving you have to leave a minimum of 12 hours before your flight. Also, please check out the medical questionnaire, if you answer “YES” to any of the questions, you’ll need to bring a medical certificate from a doctor.

Make a day of it – Our FULL-DAY Discover Scuba Diving Experience includes 2 open-water dives, one of which could be in a Marine Reserve or on a historical wreck. (depends on weather and local conditions on the day)
