Do Your PADI Divemaster Course with Dive Systems

The PADI Divemaster Course is gold standard for pro level scuba diver training.

Here at Dive Systems we work with experienced instructors, from each you can learn so much! Taking the PADI Divemaster course with various mentors means you can get the best tips and tricks from all!

Our philosophy is that we don’t only want to train you to achieve the requirements of this course but get you ready for reality and giving you the experience required to excel in the field! We prioritise your course, get you through it, give you chances to repeat whichever part we or you are not happy yet with. This way the course itself takes around 3 weeks to finish.

After you are a certified PADI Divemaster, you have the option to continue diving with us for an additional few weeks as your schedule allows you to, and get the real experience working as a DM! We have a wide variety of clients, from clients just doing their first dive, up to serious technical divers, so You can see the whole picture of the dive industry in Malta’s largest dive center.

Are you looking for employment?

We have unique option for certified Divemasters who are performing really well on the course to get into employment with us. Why is it special? In Malta by law divemasters can only take Advanced Divers or above independently. This law causes that many dive centers do not employ DMs but just Instructors. With us you have a chance to start earning money after becoming Divemaster! (This option is limited and just taking the course doesn’t guarantee your employment!)

What do you need to start the course?

To start, you will need:

  • minimum 40 logged dives (the more, the better 😉 )
  • PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
  • EFR Primary and Secondary care certification (or equivalent) within 2 years
  • RSTC Medical certificate from a physician
  • Get your PADI Divemaster eLearning

If you don’t have any of those, don’t worry! We offer various packages to bring you up to the necessary level to start. Contact us for an offer, wherever you are starting from, we can make a specific itemised timeline for You.

What are the costs of the PADI Divemaster Course at Dive Systems Malta?

Additionally to the Divemaster course price you will need the DM eLearning.

At the end of the course, you will need to register with PADI, which is 136 EUR including VAT in 2022. This is independent of us, you’ll pay directly to the PADI Regional office.

For equipment, you can use the dive centre kit, but you will need small bits, which you definitely need your own. These are a personal dive computer, SMB with a reel or spool, and an underwater signalling device. You can get your equipment with us, we offer great discounts for our Pro students!
