If you’ve always wanted to enter the underwater world quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as your breath allows, then freediving is for you.
Program Purpose and Goals:
The purpose of the PADI Freediver program is to develop the skills and knowledge of freediving. Compared with casual skin diving and snorkeling, for the purposes of this program, “freediving” is breathhold diving that involves deeper depth, longer durations, specialized equipment and more extensive physical/mental skills.

For your safety, all PADI students must complete a medical statement prior to commencing a freediving course. If none of the listed conditions apply, you sign the form and are ready to start.
If any conditions affect you, as a safety precaution, a physician must examine you and sign a medical form that confirming you are fit to freedive, dated within the last 12 months. You must bring this form with you to the dive center before you start freediving.
